- Over 700 millions fan votes helped Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw bring home 2014 People’s Choice Awards wins! Taylor snagged the trophy for Favorite Country Artist, while Tim claimed the prize for Country Music Icon. Congratulations!
- Congratulations to Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett, who have just been announced as semi-finalists for the Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of Year.The New Artist of the Year award absorbs all newcomer categories including New Male Vocalist, New Female Vocalist, and New Vocal Duo or Group categories from past years, and the winner will be revealed on the LIVE telecast of the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The newcomer category for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be voted on by ACM members beginning Monday and by the fans through VoteACM.com and GACtv.com/ACM, beginning Tuesday, January 21st.

- It was announced this week that Florida Georgia Line will be joining Jason Aldean on his 2014 Burn It Down Tour, which will kick off May 1 in Roanoke, VA and continue on to roughly 50 cities through the end of the year. Fans can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 24 for select cities as part of tour promoter Live Nation’s Country Megaticket at www.Megaticket.com, and additional ticketing information will be available in the coming weeks at www.jasonaldean.com.
