- Congratulations to Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw, who both brought home a handful of American Country Awards on Tuesday (12/10). Taylor received the trophy for Worldwide Artist of the Year, while the superstar-trio performance of “Highway Don’t Care” garnered Tim, Taylor, and Keith the awards for Single of the Year, Vocal Collaboration of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. Songwriters Mark Irwin, Josh Kear, Brad Warren, and Brett Warren scored Song of the Year for the track.
- Taylor Swift was a featured performer on Tuesday’s (12/10) Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on CBS, which garnered 9.7 million viewers. She joined the “angels” on the catwalk for “I Knew Your Were Trouble” and also took the stage with Fall Out Boy to perform “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark.” Click the links to watch!
- Danielle Bradbery returned to The Voice on NBC on Tuesday (12/10) to perform a powerful version of her song “Never Like This,” one of the songs off her brand new debut album, out now.
- The cast of NASHVILLE gathered for a group of industry professionals and contest winners at SiriusXM on Wednesday (12/11) night for a special album premiere party. - Republic Nashville sends out a huge THANK YOU to Country radio for helping us finish 2013 at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Imprints and Hot Country Songs Labels charts. “Republic Nashville, a joint venture between Republic Records and BMLG, made impressive inroads during the past year, and while FGL was a big part of that success, the label also benefited from strong performances from the Band Perry and Eli Young Band. Republic Nashville finishes 2013 at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs Imprints and Hot Country Songs Labels charts. Both are firsts for the label, which beat out perennial powerhouse Capitol Nashville in both categories.”

- Florida Georgia Line brought home a whopping SIX American Country Awards during Tuesday (12/10) night’s show! They were the biggest winners of the night, helping BMLG garner the most awards as a label! They won Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year. They also received multiple honors for their record-breaking smash “Cruise,” which scored Most Played Radio Track; Most Played Radio Track: New Artist; Single of the Year; Single of the Year: New Artist and Music Video of the Year: New Artist. The duo also nailed a pyro-infused performance of “Stay”.
- Congratulations to The Band Perry, who also brought home an American Country Award, being awarded with Most Played Radio Track: Group for “Better Dig Two.”
- Cassadee Pope joined Danielle Bradbery as a guest on this week’s episode of The Voice on Tuesday (12/10). She rocked out to “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart,” one of the songs from her debut album.
