George Birge and Cody Cooper of Waterloo Revival are all about their music these days including promoting their debut single, “Hit the Road.” When they do have some rare time off Cody loves water skiing, and he says, “I’m relatively addicted to going to the gym, which is a good thing to do during the winter when it’s a little too cold to be out on the water.”
Other than that, even when he’s not working, Cody says, “I’m a sucker for live music and it’s been great growin’ up on Austin ‘cause the live music scene’s great and moving to Nashville it’s even better ‘cause the live music scene’s so awesome there too. So, between the lake and the gym and checking out live music whenever I can, I think that pretty much sums it up.”

Waterloo Revival is still working on their debut album for Big Machine. They play a show at Chicago’s famous Joe’s Bar on March 27.
