Tim McGraw is known for his signature black cowboy hat, and since he wears it all the time on stage, in photos, when making public appearances, so you would think he has a bunch of hats he rotates or keeps on hand as back-ups. But Tim says, that’s not the case.

“I don’t have a lot. I mean, I try to stick with one for a long time. You shape it and then you have to wear it a little while and then it takes a couple of months for it to actually look right. Then you only have a couple of months where it actually looks right. Then you live with it lookin’ bad for a little while before you finally get the nerve up to switch again.”
