(AUDIO) THOMAS RHETT’S AUTHENTICITY HAS LED TO HIS DIVERSE SOUND IN COUNTRY MUSIC

current single: “AFTER ALL THE BARS ARE CLOSED

Thomas Rhett has added another #1 song to his resumé with his latest single, “After All the Bars Are Closed.” That makes an even two dozen for TR, and if you listen to all of his hits, they represent a wide range of sounds and styles, from straight down the middle country, to dance hits, to reflective ballads to pop-tinged party tunes. But the one thing they all have in common is that they are authentically Thomas Rhett at different points in his musical journey.

Thomas Rhett – being authentic :29

“You know, I think at the bottom line, no matter what genre you are in, you can never go wrong being fully who you are. I think in any business, it’s easy to kinda chase what’s working, whether you’re in music or in sales. You know, you could watch your co-worker doing something that works and you can either follow that or you can carve your own path. And, you know, I think sitting down and not trying to write a hit, but just try to write something that feels like you, it’s kind of been the secret sauce for me. And I just got really lucky that a lot of people that listen to my music sort of were going through the same things in life and found their own story within my story.”
