Some people take issue with artists from other genres crossing over into country music, but Thomas Rhett, who has recorded songs with artist like Katy Perry and Teddy Swims, thinks it’s great when any artist wants to be a part of the country music world.

“I mean, I guess you have to ask yourself the question, you know, how many people do you want to know about country music? I think there’s a lot of people that were brought into country music with a lot of different artists in our genre that might not would have listened had it not been for a couple of different artists. And, you know, I’ve always been a big believer that the more people that can hear country music, the better. And so if that takes bringing in somebody from the outside world to introduce people to a lot of different artists, and I think it’s a big win for our genre.”
