Thomas Rhett released his About A Woman album almost a year ago, on August 23, 2024. Then on May 9, 2025, Thomas added three songs to the album and dubbed it About A Woman (From A Small Town). His goal was to give fans more new music throughout the summer, which is why he then added three more songs to the album and named it About A Woman & A Good Ol’ Boy. And Thomas says delivering more music more often to fans is something he wants to continue to do in his career.

“Absolutely, but not at the risk of just like more is more, you know what I’m sayin’? Like if there’s somethin’ to say and it’s recorded and it’s worth telling, it might as well come out.  Just finding places for the amount of songs that we get to create in a year to really just come out and bless people and put smiles on their faces, that’s the ultimate goal.”
