Thomas Rhett is spending his summer and fall opening for Florida Georgia Line on their Anything Goes Tour, and while most country music fans could probably identify him in a heartbeat, it seems he’s not having as much luck backstage on the tour. Thomas says, “They give me a laminate every year and I lose about ten of ’em. So, they’ve stopped giving me laminates.”
Instead, Florida Georgia Line has come up with the brilliant idea of posting pictures of their opening acts all over the walls in the backstage area. Thomas says, “So every time we walk past a security guard they say, ‘Sir you don’t have your pass’ I’m like, ‘There’s my picture right there.’”
In between tour dates, Thomas is working on his sophomore album, which will feature his new single, “Crash and Burn.”

Thomas Rhett will co-headline the fall 2015 CMT Tour with buddy Brett Eldredge dubbed the “Suits & Boots Tour.” Also, last week, Rhett played at CMA Fest at LP Field in Nashville.
