Although Thomas Rhett spends a lot of his career traveling, he actually loves to travek on vacation when he has time off.  One of his and his wife Lauren’s favorite spots on the planet is Hawaii.  Thomas says, “That’s just kind of become our getaway spot. It’s nice that you barely have any cell phone reception. And you know, you’re kind of in a spot where it’s just surfers and locals. You’re just on a beach and there’s not a whole lot to do, which is what we like.”

Thomas and Lauren often plan a vacation during the holidays once he’s done touring for the year and he says they haven’t quite worked out their plans for this year yet.  “I don’t know, we might, when the fall comes, try to escape to North Carolina to the mountains and get away. Honestly, anywhere I can go with no cell phone reception is going to be the best for me.”

Thomas is currently opening for Jason Aldean on the Six String Circus Tour.  He’ll wrap up his touring schedule this year with a seven city international tour in Ireland, the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands in early November.
