Country music has seen an influx of artists from other genres finding space in country music, whether it’s albums by Post Malone or Beyonce, or collaborations with artists like The Jonas Brothers or Tate McRae, and he doesn’t mind it at all, because he believes the more the merrier.

“I guess you have to ask yourself the question, how many people do you want to know about country music? I think there’s a lot of people that were brought into country music with a lot of different artists in our genre that might not would have listened had it not been for a couple of different artists. And, you know, I’ve always been a big believer that the more people that can hear country music, the better. And so if that takes bringing in somebody from the outside world to introduce people to a lot of different artists, then I think it’s a big win for our genre.”
