“For Thanksgiving, aside from the turkey, my thing, and it’s a normal thing to everybody, but for whatever reason, it’s a staple at Thanksgiving for me, and it’s my mom’s homemade gravy. Everybody has gravy, but for whatever reason, I don’t know if it’s a little bit saltier than most, but it’s exactly the same every year for my whole life for as long as I can remember. And that’s always the biggest disappointment of if I go somewhere where the gravy is so different that it doesn’t feel, smell, or taste like mom’s homemade gravy.”
