Riley Green is a family guy who loves getting back to Jacksonville, Alabama whenever he can to spend time with his whole family. It’s one of the reasons he loves Thanksgiving, because it gives him a chance to go home and see everybody.

“Thanksgiving is definitely a big family gathering for us. It’s something I look forward to. My grandmothers were amazing cooks, and my grandmother Nancy was chicken and dumplins and dressing, and my grandmother Jean made the best biscuits and gravy, and everybody kind of came together. And something that I came to find out is both sets of my grandparents grew up in the same town, like a mile or two apart. So, great grandmother was alive for most of my life, both sets of my grandparents for most of my life. So, I had aunts and uncles of both sides and cousins, so it’s a big get -together. And we really do that very often, you know birthdays, any time we have an excuse to get together, we all do.”
