As a new artist, Tara Thompson spends a lot of time on the road, visiting radio stations to promote her debut single, “Someone to Take Your Place,” and traveling all over the country to play shows. She thinks she’s becoming a better traveler, but she admits, “When I first started traveling I hated flying. Flying scares me, something about being up in the sky, but I am getting a lot better at it. It’s getting easier.”
The one thing she can’t get used to when she’s on the road is having to leave her best friends, her dogs, at home. Tara says, “I have never been away from them this long in their whole lives and if I could just bring them with me every day I think I would be 100% satisfied. Other than that, I like to travel.”
Tara is currently working on her debut album for release through The Valory Music Company, later this year.
