Steven Tyler is working on a country album to release later this year on Dot Records, featuring his debut country single, “Love is Your Name,” and his brand new single, “Red, White and You.” Steven grew up in the city in New York but he was also influenced by small-town country life as growing up. He says, “Yeah, I grew up in Yonkers, New York, in the Bronx, New York boy. And, the family had a resort called Tallarico Lodge up in Sunapee (New Hampshire), I think it was like 20 beds, four cabins, and I grew up on that land. So I was New York City, apartment buildings, to the country. I’ve actually spoke about this. They go, you know, ‘What’s with the country record?’ Well, you know, I grew up in Sunapee. There was 1,200 people in my town when I grew up.”
Steven is taking all of his influences and pouring them into writing his debut country album, which he’ll release later this year.
