Riley Green has a ton of respect for his dad, particularly his work ethic, which Riley says his dad tried to instill in him when he was younger, although he’s not sure it ever stuck.

“He’s different in me in the sense of he only wants to work. And he’s just wide open. He’s got one gear and he still works like he did 20 years ago and he needs to slow down. But he’s probably the reason that I wasn’t any lazier than I was in college, which I was pretty lazy. I could not get up and go to a 9:15 class, save my life. But he came by and woke me up and tried to, you know, if you’re not gonna go to school, come to work. He was the reason that I can stand going to work all day long. A lot of people didn’t spend their summers working with their dad or working, you know, they spent it at camp. So, he was definitely helpful in the sense of giving me some type of work ethic, whether it stuck or not.”
