Riley Green walked away from this year’s ACM Awards with three trophies for his collaboration with Ella Langley, “You Look Like You Love Me,” which won Single, Music Event and Visual Media of the Year. Riley was definitely happy for the wins, but he was probably more excited for Ella Langley, and grateful for their friendship.

“Oh man, it’s always so great when you get recognition from your peers and country music as a whole, and just super excited for Ella and the journey she’s on. I’ve been doing this a while and nights like this don’t happen very often, so I hope she’s enjoying it and I’m glad that she’s out on tour with me and we’re able to play these songs together on the road.”

And it turns out ACM Awards aren’t the only thing Riley has Ella to thank for in his life. He’s been rockin’ a pretty serious mustache for a little while now, and Riley says it all started because of one person.

“We gotta give Ella all the credit on this situation, yeah. She wanted me to keep it for the music video, and that was about a year ago, so here we are.”
