We asked Rascal Flatts about their favorite or most memorable Christmas gifts as kids, and they each shared the gift that they’ll never forget.

Jay DeMarcus – “Oh, it had to be the Death Star, the Star Wars Death Star when I was a kid. Because it was huge, you know, and it had so many pieces to it. It was three stories tall. I mean, it was really cool.

Gary LeVox – “When I was a toddler, that crank up, Evil Knievil.”

Jay – “Oh, it was great! That’s my answer. I want to switch mine.”

Joe Don Rooney – “I remember I got my first four-track. I was 13 years old. A four-track machine is something you can record on and do little demos, home projects on.”

Jay – “His family had money. Mine couldn’t afford a four-track.”

Joe Don – “Well, the other kids were out of the house by the time I was 13, so they did buy me a few gifts each year.”
