(AUDIO) RASCAL FLATTS LEARNED TO ADJUST TO CREATING IN THE PANDEMIC

CURRENT SINGLE: “How They Remember You”

At this point in the pandemic, most artists have figured out how to adapt to creating while socially distancing, and everybody is doing what they have to do to make music, including Rascal Flatts.  Early on in the pandemic, when they were making their How They Remember You EP, Gary LeVox says, “The Kenny Rogers tribute that we did, ‘Through the Years,’ literally, we sang it on our phones and then sent it to a studio.  And songwriting we’re zooming, and the whole ballgame’s changed.”

While the pandemic has been unsettling and challenging and scary and stressful for a lot of people, Gary has found at least one silver lining to it.  “Traffic has been awesome in Nashville,” he says with excitement.  “Woohoo!”

Rascal Flatts – collaborating changed  :20

Gary LeVox – “Yeah, you know, for example, the Kenny Rogers tribute that we did, “Through the Years,” literally, we sang it on our phones and then sent it to a studio.  And songwriting we’re zooming, and the whole ballgame’s changed.  So, the pandemic has been horrible, but I can tell you what, traffic has been awesome in Nashville … (Joe Don laughs) woohoo!
