CURRENT SINGLE: “It’s Cause I Am”
Callista Clark released her debut EP, Real to Me, back in February of this year, featuring five songs, including her debut single, “It’s Cause I Am.” Since then she’s been working on new music and writing more songs, and it turns out that quarantine was a bit of a gift for her. “You know, when quarantine started I kind of didn’t think I was going to write,” says Callista. “But then this zoom option came up, and then I was writing a good bit. And it was with a lot of my favorite writers, ones that are very busy a lot of the time.”
Not only did Zoom writes mean Callista could get in a virtual room and write with anybody, no matter where they were in the world, but she laughs and says, “It was this weird thing where everyone was at home and not busy anymore, and so, they kind of couldn’t say no.”
We can’t wait to hear the songs Callista was able to write over the last year and a half.
