Preston Cooper is from a small farm town in Ohio, and after he graduated high school, he got a steady job with the post office as a mailman. So, when Preston started playing gigs around town on the side, some people assumed it was just for fun, and never imagined it would lead him to Nashville and the career he has now.

“Some of my family thought it was kind of a hobby, you know. But like my sister always told me, ‘You need to do this. Like, you literally could do this.’ She always believed in me. And I think most of my family did, but it was definitely kind of a hobby per se when I started.”
