It’s an opportunity that any young artist would be lucky to get, so did Preston ever wonder, ‘why me?” or ‘how did I get so lucky?’

“I did have that feeling, like, why me? Yes, very much so, because I’ve always been told, like, ‘Oh, you might make it in Nashville, but good luck. You’re probably not.’ But we always go back to a God moment. It was a very spiritual thing, I think, and that’s all there is to it, really. It was definitely supposed to happen, for sure.”
