Preston Cooper moved to Nashville only about a year and a half ago from his small hometown just outside of Toledo, Ohio. There was definitely an adjustment period but Preston says he’s learning the ways of the “big city” and finding his groove.

“So, when I moved here, the first three months were kind of slow for me ’cause I just moved. I literally just like one day I decided I’m going. So, I got a place and I just started going to a bunch of open mic nights and just meetin’ a bunch of people. But I’ve been definitely getting’ used to the city life ’cause it’s very different from where I’m from. There’s like one stoplight. So, I’m an offensive driver now. But yeah, it’s been fun living here. I do like it. Getting’ in the groove is kind of the main thing. It’s like, you know, a steady day-to-day thing.”
