If you just saw a picture of 22-year-old Preston Cooper, you might not expect the voice that comes out of the speakers when he sings. There’s a power and a depth to Preston’s voice that catches a lot of people by surprise when they first hear him, so we asked him to describe his sound.

“People often say it’s like Chris Cornell and Chris Stapleton had a baby. So, it’s very much bluesy, soulful music, and it comes from the heart, lyrically especially. And pretty laid-back music really. It’s easy to listen to, is what I like to say.”
