Chip Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne on ABC’s Nashville, says his favorite part about the city is the people. “All the people that I’ve met and the new friends I’ve made … There’s a kindness that runs through Nashville,” says Chip. “The people are just really, really friendly. I’ve been able to write with so many of them. I’ve been able to get to know so many and I hope that continues. I really love it.” Nashville will take a break this week so that ABC can air the CMA Awards, but will return with a new episode the following week.

Charles “Chip” Esten – favorite thing about Nashville :19
“My favorite thing about Nashville, besides getting to do this amazing show, is all the people that I’ve met and the new friends I’ve made. There’s a kindness that runs through Nashville. The people are just really, really friendly. I’ve been able to write with so many of them. I’ve been able to get to know so many and I hope that continues. I really love it.”
