Mackenzie Carpenter’s latest single, “I Wish You Would,” is a collaboration with Midland, and if you had told her a few years ago that she’d actually be on the radio singing a song with them, she probably wouldn’t have believed you.

“A really cool part of having Midland on this track is that three years ago at Stagecoach, I got to go to the festival for the first time ever. And Midland was direct support to the headlining act. And when the guys came out on stage, me and my friends almost like buckled over, we were so excited. The vibes were just like amazing. And we were like, ‘Are you breathing? Like what’s going on? They’re so incredible.’ And we had the best time and the best memories just like watching their set and now three years later I’m on a track with them.”
