Mackenzie Carpenter loves so many things about her mom, but there are a couple of qualities in particular about her mom that Mackenzie admires so much and hopes to develop in her own life.

“Some of the qualities that my mom has that I think that I’ve learned from and that I aspire to someday have the same as her, is she does not care at all about what other people think. She’s so true to herself in every situation from the clothes that she wears to the decor of her house. Like she’s never been distracted by having to have anything flashy or name brand. And as fun as all that stuff is, you know, like I’m down for that too. But I love that she’s so confidently just doesn’t care. She’s very strong-willed and very opinionated, but she knows when it’s her time to speak. She has such an art for speaking at the right time and knowing just what to say.”
