“You know, I have to be honest, when I think back to Little Mackenzie and where the musical influence started and where this dream was planted, it’s so hard to put my finger on the exact moment because I feel like there was so much happening. Like, I totally grew up watching like American Idol and be like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna do that.’ standing in the middle of my living room, doing my hair like these people and like singing into my fake microphone. And even before that, like when I had sleepovers as like a little, little girl, I dressed everyone. We had a fashion show and we were a band, and like, you’re the drummer, you’re the guitar player, I’m the singer, like, we’re doing this.”
