Justin Moore was planning to take it easy this summer and just play the fair and festival circuit after wrapping up his successful Off the Beaten Path Tour, but when his friend Miranda Lambert invited him to join her for some of the dates on her Platinum Tour, which kicks off this weekend, he couldn’t say no. “We’ve done that in the past and that’s always a blast,” says Justin. “She asked us out and we weren’t really lookin’ for another tour to do, especially since we’ve kinda got our own thing goin’ now. But not unlike Randy and Josh and me goin’ out together, it’s really fun to go out and tour with people who you you’re actually friends with. The fact that she’s on my album, plus we’re such good friends, I thought it’d be a fun change of pace for us, between headlinin’ at the beginnin’ and the end of the year. So we’re excited about that.”

Justin will definitely be performing his latest single, “Home Sweet Home,” off the forthcoming Motley Crue tribute album, on the tour, and there’s a chance that he and Miranda could team up to sing their duet off of his Off the Beaten Path album, “Old Habits.”
