Justin Moore is very close to his parents.  He lives right next door to them in Arkansas, and he and his wife Kate even go on double dates with his parents. But Justin says he shares an extra-special bond with his mom because she doesn’t pull any punches with him.

“My mom is honestly one of my best friends. And I’m close to my dad too, and obviously have a great relationship with him, but my mom and I, we’re closer from a friend type perspective in a way.  I mean, I don’t know if that’s a mama’s boy kind of thing. Probably. But the fact that she’s always been and always will be completely honest with me, whether it’s good bad or indifferent, is something that I’ve always appreciated.”
