Thomas Rhett is relatively new to Snapchat, compared to some artists, but he got a big crash course on how to use it when he was out on the CMT Tour with his good friend Brett Eldredge. Thomas says, “I never even wanted to use Snapchat until I was on the road with Brett Eldredge and noticed that he literally did it all day long, and when he got in bed he would…’Hey, I’m goin’ to bed’.”
Thomas, who is on the verge of having another #1 hit with his latest single, “T-shirt,” likes the fact that Snapchat is meant to happen dozens of times a day and that’s what people expect, whereas with Twitter or Instagram you can only post so many things a day before it starts to get annoying. As for what he Snapchats, Thomas says, “It is so random. I don’t think I can plan anything that we have done on Snapchat… I’ve had a blast gettin’ to learn how to use it.”
