Justin Moore and his wife Kate will celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, September 30. Justin remembers when they first started dating they had a couple of challenges, like trying to do the long-distance thing, but they managed to make it work, and now they’ve been married for 18 years and have four children.

“For a couple of years, if not a little more than that, we were a long distance. She was in college and I had moved to Nashville, and so I was workin’ a lot and then trying to work on the music thing also, in addition to a regular job to pay the bills. So, it was a lot of movies and stereotypical stuff, putt -putt and that kind of stuff, and dinners. But a lot of times we would just kinda hang in my apartment or her apartment at the time and watch movies and just hang out, cause we didn’t really know each other that well, quite honestly because we had just met. So, a lot of times spent on the phone and that was obviously before FaceTime and that kind of stuff. It was just literally phone calls.”
