Jackson Dean’s latest hit song, “Heavens to Betsy,” tells the powerful story of a father who has passed away, attempting to reach his daughter via CB radio from the afterlife to repent for being a lousy father to her. While the story is fictitious, Jackson has touched a nerve with a lot of people who can either relate to the plight of the father in the song, or understand how the daughter feels. And in some cases, hearing the song has helped bridge the gap of understanding a little.
