It’s back to school time, and since Jackson Dean has always been a bit of deep thinker and an old soul, we wondered what he was like in high school.

“I was the kid that everybody knew but nobody wanted to hang out with. Maybe not wanted, but everybody knew who I was, but I didn’t have many friends. I had two best friends. They went to another private school, which was a rival, and they ran with a different crowd than I did. And I had some good friends, but I was ahead of my time, I think, for sure. While everybody else was worried about high school drama, I was worried about going to work and makin’ money and having things of my own that I just wanted to grow up so damn bad. But I was a jock. I was definitely a loner inside that building, and I just did my own thing when I was in high school.”
