Justin Moore just released his brand new single, “This Kind of Town,” he’s getting ready to end 2014 with another leg of his successful Off the Beaten Path headlining tour and overall his career is in a great place. When he thinks about the early days of his career Justin says if he could go back and tell his younger self anything, “I would probably tell myself, as it relates to my career, enjoy the journey a little more than I did. We’re still on that journey, but I think early on you want everything right now and you don’t understand and you beat yourself up over, why are you not at this position right now.”
Of course hindsight is 20/20, but Justin says, “Lookin’ back on it now, gettin’ to where we are, the getting there part was a lotta the fun, and the getting there part is what makes you appreciate being where we are right now. So I think I’d probably, if I had to pick one thing, I’d probably tell myself to go back and enjoy it every single day and understand a little more about the journey that got me to this point.”
Justin will kick off the second leg of his Off the Beaten Path Tour on October 23rd in Columbia, Missouri with Thomas Rhett and Colt Ford and special guest Jordan Rager

Justin Moore – what tell younger self :57
“You know, besides the cliché stuff, go spend more time with those folks that are not around anymore, which obviously I would do. I think that I would probably tell myself, as it relates to my career, enjoy the journey a little more than I did. We’re still on that journey, but I think early on you want everything right now and you don’t understand and you beat yourself up over, why are you not at this position right now. It’s cliché to say, but lookin’ back on it now, gettin’ to where we are, the getting there part was a lotta the fun, and the getting there part is what makes you appreciate being where we are right now. So I think I’d probably, if I had to pick on thing, I’d probably tell myself to go back and enjoy it every single day and understand a little more about the journey that got me to this point.”
