CURRENT SINGLE: “It’s Cause I Am”
Callista Clark is from a tiny town in Georgia called Zebulon, with an estimated population of just over 1,000 people. Some kids who grow up in tiny towns can’t wait to grow up and move away to anywhere bigger and seemingly more exciting, but for Callista, Zebulon was the perfect place to grow up. Sure, she says, “Everybody knows everybody,” which means everybody knows everybody’s business.
But Callista, whose creativity keeps her in her head a lot, who was painfully shy as a child and who is very close to her family, she says, “I think (Zebulon is) a really great place to grow up because it was just very quiet and very calm, especially my grandparent’s house.”
Callista’s grandparents had a pretty big piece of property, which allowed her to enjoy the great outdoors anytime she wanted, and she says, “I’m always outside. I love being outside, so anything like that where I can ride four wheelers or walk on trails, be in the woods, be in nature, that’s my zone.”
To this day, Callista loves to be outside, whether it’s the woods, the beach, or even just taking a walk in a park.
