When Greylan James was growing up, he and is brother would get their own specific Christmas presents, but then their parents would sometimes put presents under the tree that either he or his brother could claim, or they could both play with. It was one of those gifts that ended up changing Greylan’s life forever.

“It was literally just something to bang on. But I swear to God, I still vaguely remember it, but from that point on, I was like, ‘That is what I’m doing the rest of my life.’ And I took that little guitar to guitar lessons from when I was 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 years old, and I just never stopped. I was like, ‘This is what I’m doing.’ It never wavered. I played baseball, played other sports. You know, obviously went to school, but I was like, ‘I wanna do country music. This is my thing.’”
