debut single: “WAIT TIL YOU HAVE KIDS”

Greylan James managed to write his very insightful debut single, “Wait Til You Have Kids,” without having any kids of his own, but having a family in the future is defimitely something he’s thought about.  For now, Greylan is single, so he’s not in a huge rush to start having kids, plus, he’s hoping to use his little brother’s new parenting experience as a guinea pig of sorts before he makes any concrete decisions about his future family.

“Yeah, I’m not sure what kind of family I want yet. I mean, I think that right now, I still feel kind of like a kid, even I’m 28 now. You know, like I’ve just been so focused on my career. But I’ve always seen my brother as my little brother and never really thought of him as an adult. And he’s been married for a couple of years, but still like, I look at my sister-in-law as his girlfriend, but then he surprised us that he’s having his first kid. And so, I’m just excited to see how that dynamic goes before I start seeing how many kids I want one day. But let’s see how he handles the first, ’cause he was a straight A student growing up, so he’s always been the one that had his head on the shoulder a little bit more than me. So, we’ll see how he handles one, and then I’ll start making my plans.”
