Labor Day is coming up this Monday, September 2, and while Gary LeVox has been making a living as a member of Rascal Flatts for over 25 years, he still hasn’t forgotten his first job, which he says was pretty crappy.

“I cleaned horse stalls in the summer. I didn’t like it, I didn’t like it. I mean, I liked the horses and I love doing all that, but cleaning horse stalls was my first job and it paid nothing really. The job was pretty crappy, but it got me out there and got me workin’ and learnin’ how to, you know, get out there and sweat for a check.”
