(AUDIO) Eric Close Loves The Charitable Spirit of Nashville

Eric Close, who plays Mayor Teddy Conrad on ABC’s Nashville, has been immersing himself in the city of Nashville since he lives there while filming, and one of the things he loves about the community is the opportunity to give back.  “There’s so many opportunities to do that in Nashville,” says Eric.  “It’s one of the more charitable places I’ve lived. I mean, people are always out trying to help each other out. So many great causes.”  He recently participated in Dierks Bentley’s Miles & Music for Kids charity motorcycle ride and helped raise more than $307,000 for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville.  Next month he will serve as Grand Marshall for the 61st annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade in downtown Nashville.
