Memorial Day Weekend is considered the unofficial kickoff of summer for a lot of people, and when Callista Clark thinks about summertime, there’s one place that comes to mind. “So, my grandparent’s house, they own a Christmas tree farm, so I’m constantly over there. They have a bunch of land that I love to ride four wheelers on and do things like that.”
There’s another big reason Callista loves spending the days of summer at her grandparent’s house. “They have a pool, so that’s what I think of when I think of summer.” She laughs and says, “Last year I got to tan a lot cause, you know, quarantine. So I think of their house automatically.”
Like most artists, Callista would be thrilled to not have a lot of time to lay by the pool this summer if it meant she could be working and touring and focusing on her career instead of her tan lines.
