“We’ve got the memory bracelets and a lot of dog tags that have been given to me and that can be a heroin thing to stare at, you know, just kinda hanging out with your buddies and you look down and you see a name, somebody’s given you a bracelet. A lot of ‘em tell you where they were when they passed, the date and the place, and it’s a reality check. It says all that, and that’s somebody’s legacy, somebody’s memory, and it’s a special thing.”
