Ashley Campbell’s favorite dish to eat at Thanksgiving is green bean casserole, but she says it’s one she has to make on her own because she makes it “the right way.” According to Ashley, “I make it with the canned green beans, with the canned Campbell’s mushroom soup. I do half garlic mushroom soup and half regular mushroom soup, and I use the French’s fried onions because it’s the best way to make it.”
Ashley says sometimes she’ll run into someone who says they’ll make the green bean casserole because they’re going to make it from scratch with fresh green beans and other fresh ingredients, but she says, “I’m like, ‘Okay, that’s great, but I’m still making it the right way.’ Stay classy green bean casserole.”
Ashley is currently promoting her debut single, “Remembering” which will be on her debut album, set to be released in 2016.
