Tim McGraw has been a professional musician for 35 years. He met the people at his first record label in 1990 and released his debut single in 1991. Nobody would question it if Tim said he was thinking of slowing down or even considering retiring, but Tim says he’s not even close to thinking about taking his foot off the gas pedal.

“You know, I like being busy. I like working. Gosh, I feel like I’m just hittin’ my stride. I feel like I got a lot of work to do and a lot of things to do. And I just love what I’m doing. I feel like I’m in a good spot. I feel like I’m getting better at my craft and I just love making music and love being in studio recording. I never take it for granted. I’ve been very fortunate. My career has outdone all of my expectations. It’s more than I could ever hope for.”
