The soundtrack for the documentary Glen Campbell … I’ll be Me, will be available on February 17th. Not only does it feature the Oscar-nominated song from Glen, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You,” but it also features two songs recorded by his daughter Ashley – “Remembering” and “Home Again.” Ashley had the joy of being able to perform with her dad on his Goodbye Tour, but she admits, “At first it was difficult to let my guard down and let him be vulnerable in front of an audience,” she says. “I wanted to do everything I could to protect him. But I finally realized that he didn’t need my protection. He just needed my support, and so that’s what it became about, just being there for him, whatever he needed.”
Ashley realized that the audience just wanted to see Glen and they loved him and she says, “Playing on stage with my dad during the Goodbye Tour was an experience I’ll always cherish.
