Thomas Rhett is excited to be headlining this year’s Saturday Night Infield Concert at Talladega, this coming Saturday. “When you think of NASCAR your mind goes straight to Talladega,” says Thomas, “so for us to go get to play in the infield for, in my opinion, the biggest rednecks in the world, there’ll be plenty of Jack Daniels and Busch Light consumed on my end and on theirs, it’ll just be fun.”
A lot of Thomas’ family will be joining him in Talladega and he says, “I’ve always been into NASCAR, but never really delved into it and so now that we’re about to go play Talladega, I’m gettin’ my NASCAR on.”
The concert will take place on October 18th after the conclusion of the fred’s 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race and the night before the running of the GEICO 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday. The concert is free with the purchase of a Sunday race ticket for the GEICO 500. Last week, it was announced that Thomas Rhett will be joining Florida Georgia Line on their 2015 “Anything Goes Tour” that will begin in January. Meanwhile, Rhett plays his only date this week on Saturday (10/18) in Talladega, Alabama at the Talladega Speedway after Fred’s 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.
