ABC’s Nashville will return for its third season on September 24th, and the season premiere will actually feature some live performances in between the pre-recorded portions of the show. Charles Esten who plays Deacon Claybourne explains, “Chris Carmack will be doing a song live at the beginning; I will be doing a song live at the end; the rest of the show will obviously be taped or filmed as we normally do. In those two places from our Bluebird, not the actual one, but from the one we shoot at, we will be going live.”
Charles is especially excited about his live performance because he’ll be singing a song he co-wrote with Deana Carter called “I Know How to Love You Now.” “To be doing that with a song that I had a hand in writing, this is a day I won’t forget,” says Charles. “This is gonna be somethin’.”
The season three premiere of Nashville will also feature a guest appearance from Florida Georgia Line and will air on Wednesday, September 24th at 10p ET/9pm CT on ABC.
