(AUDIO) Thomas Rhett Thankful For Bigger Crowds At His Shows

The last year has been pretty big for Thomas Rhett in terms of his career. He’s scored two number one hits of his own and has his new single, “Make Me Wanna,” about to start its climb up the charts, he’s written hit songs for other people and been out on several major tours. One change Thomas has definitely noticed is the size of the crowds coming out to see him play live. “A couple years ago we’d go play a club and hope to God we’d sell 200 tickets,” says Thomas. “And now we go and we just sell out everywhere we go and it’s…I mean, not like arenas or anything. But every club, every fair, every festival we go to, it’s always just a packed house for us and that’s something that I don’t think I’ll ever get used to.”

Thomas is thankful for the growth because he says, “It’s definitely been kind of a trend this year, which I guess hopefully means you’re going upward and not downward.”
