Mother’s Day is coming up May 11th, and Thomas Rhett says one quality he definitely inherited from his mom is his tendency to wear his emotions on his sleeve. “If I’m mad, you’re gonna know it. If I’m happy, you’re gonna know it. If I have a problem with you, you’re gonna know it,” says Thomas. “That’s how my Mom has always been and it’s a trait that I wish I did not have. I wish I had more of a poker face about life.”

Aside from not being able to camouflage his emotions very well thanks to his mom, the “Get Me Some of That” singer says, “My Mom is a saint, I wish I had more of her just ‘saint-ness’ characteristic. She would never hurt a fly and she raised me right and so I love my Mom. She’s been a really great influence in my life.”
