Like so many of the cast of Nashville, Clare Bowen, who plays Scarlett, is a big fan of The Bluebird, The Opry and The Ryman. One moment she’ll never forget is her Opry debut. “I had sung at the Ryman at the Opry when they had the show there and stuff going on at the Opry for Christmas. So I’ve done that and I’ve sung there with Vince Gill and that was just the most amazing experience,” she shared. “But, just recently when we were filming some of the last parts of season one I got to walk out onto the Opry stage as Scarlett and sing ‘Looking for a Place to Shine’. It was a pretty amazing experience. And just to stand out there and have Scarlett accepted by however many people in the Opry holds, like 4000 I think, that was really something else. So the Opry is very, very close to my heart, but so is the Ryman and the Bluebird, but it’s hard to pick.”
Clare and the rest of the cast of Nashville will be featured on the new soundtrack, The Music of Nashville: Original Soundtrack Season 2, Volume 1, which is being released on December 10th.
