Country music’s popularity continues to grow all around the world, and thanks to music streaming services, it’s possible for artists to know exactly where people are listening to their music. Jackson Dean told us about some of the places he’s been surprised to learn people are listening to his music.

“Even from the beginning, like when we were burning CDs at home when I was like 15, we’ve had people in like Spain. Here recently, we’ve had people in parts of Eastern Europe. We’ve had Iceland, Greenland, South America, a couple of places in Asia, which is wild. The Far East stuff is cool to me because the furthest I’ve ever been is like 800 miles from St. Petersburg, which is Switzerland, Oslo and all that stuff. And it’s a crazy thing to think about that and like where everybody is. And I know a lot of that has to be American people traveling and whatnot, but at this point, it’s not just that.”
